A winding country road through the British countryside at golden hour

The mission

The biggest challenge of my life.

I'm taking on the biggest challenge of my life: to skip the length of the UK — covering 900 miles, the equivalent of 35 marathons in 35 days. Not just as a physical challenge, but as a journey to uncover and spotlight stories of kindness from every corner of the UK.

In today's society, it feels like kindness is needed now more than ever. Kindness is contagious. On average, one act of kindness spreads to 125 people — so imagine what could happen if people across the country felt inspired to be kinder.

The goal

£520,000 for 52 Lives and the School of Kindness.

Every pound raised supports 52 Lives and the School of Kindness, enabling them to continue their fully funded kindness workshops in schools across the UK — empowering the next generation and continuing to change the world for the better, one life at a time.

The charity

52 Lives & the School of Kindness.

52 Lives is a charity dedicated to changing lives through kindness — supporting individuals in crisis and embedding kindness into the next generation through their School of Kindness programme, which delivers free workshops to schools across the UK.

125

The challenge

Land's End to John O'Groats. By rope.

Starting in Cornwall, I'll skip 900 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats — 35 marathons in 35 days. Along the way I'll showcase the stories of kindness I find, invite the Great British public to share their own random acts of kindness, and call on schools to take part in sponsored skips to raise awareness and funds.

Skipping the UK

Stories of kindness

520 stories. One country.

Alongside the skip, we're collecting and sharing 520 stories of kindness from schools, communities, organisations and individuals across the UK — proof that kindness is alive everywhere.
